PENGARUH KOMPETENSI GURU, SARANA PRASARANA, DAN MUTU LAYANAN BK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEPERCAYAAN SISWA KEPADA GURU BK SMA BANI SALEH BEKASI

The success of school guidance and counseling services is fundamentally determined by Student Trust, which underpins voluntary Self-disclosure. This study aims to analyze and empirically verify the effect of Counselor Competence, Physical Infrastructure, and Counseling Service Quality, both partially and simultaneously, on Student Trust toward the Guidance and Counseling Teacher at SMA Bani Saleh Bekasi. A quantitative causal-associative design with an explanatory survey method was employed. The target population comprised 75 students (Grade X, XI, and XII) in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sampling technique applied was saturated sampling (census), involving all 75 students as active respondents. Primary data were collected using a closed 5-point Likert scale questionnaire that demonstrated sound construct validity (Pearson Product Moment) and internal consistency reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), and Multiple Linear Regression analysis (t-test, F-test, and Coefficient of Determination R2) utilizing SPSS software. The descriptive results revealed that Counselor Competence was categorized as Very Good (mean 4.36), Infrastructure was in the Low/Poor category (mean 2.11), Counseling Service Quality was in the Moderate category (mean 3.28), and Student Trust was in the Moderate category (mean 3.23). These findings highlight the urgency of upgrading counseling room facilities to ensure physical confidentiality (audial and visual privacy) alongside optimizing comprehensive service quality to strengthen the climate of Student Trust in a private single-counselor school setting.
